Go On A Trip
Our short-term medical teams are an important and valuable part of our organization. These teams don’t just consist of medical professionals, however. We are also looking for educational supporters, relationship builders, and logistical helpers. We believe that there is a need and a place for everyone!
As part of a team of 8 to 12 people, you will have the opportunity to spend 7 to 10 days in Ethiopia. All teams stay at The Ordinary Hero Life Center and Guest House, and all work is done through our established school partners. Most days are spent at a partner school, where we focus on running an on-site medical clinic, teaching health education in the classrooms, supporting the school’s teachers, and building relationships with the students. Despite having all of this to accomplish, each team also manages to squeeze in some time for shopping, experiencing local cuisine, and sightseeing throughout the trip. Are you ready to stretch your potential and be a part of changing lives? If you are interested in learning more about our short-term medical teams, connect with us today using the email form below.
Strategy Team
Our strategy team was developed to carry out the actionable objectives of Medan, determined in conjunction with the board of directors. We are always looking for individuals who share our mission, vision and values, and are passionate about serving those in need. If you are interested in learning more about this team, please reach out to us using the contact form below.
Medical Donations
Our medical supplies needs are always changing. Furthermore, we are very intentional about purchasing as much as we can in-country, as this is both cost effective and allows us to invest in the Ethiopian economy. However, we do have a basic list of ongoing supply needs listed on our Amazon account. If you are interested in donating supplies, click on the link below. Link coming soon!
Do you have any ideas?
We are always open to new ideas. If you have any ideas about how we can increase our impact, we would love to hear them! Please share them with us using the contact form below.
